Summery: "What sound does Mommy make, Harry?" James tries to impress his friends.
James squatted in front of baby Harry, who was sitting in a Muggle high chair and flinging food from his small bowl everywhere.
"Now Harry, don't give Mommy a bigger mess to clean up." James said, gently taking the bowl and spoon away from Harry.
Harry gurgled happily as he grabbed a handful of oatmeal out of the bowl and shoved it into James' face.
"You know James, I think you look better like that." Sirius Black said, leaning against the doorframe to the right.
"Ha ha Black. Just because I don't look like you doesn't mean I'm ugly. After all, I married Lily, didn't' I?" He retorted.
Lily
snorted from the kitchen table. "Really, James? I was under the
impression you had me under a love potion."
"That was
attempted!

love potion!" James said, stressing the word attempted.
Lily just rolled her eyes.
"Anyway, James, why did you call us in here anyway?" Remus said from behind James, nervously trying to prevent any fighting, no madder how good-natured.
"Watch!" the hazel-eyed male turned back to Harry.
"Harry, what sound does a cat make?" James asked patiently.
"M'ow!"
"Very good!" James praised, ignoring Sirius saying in the background, "That's all?"
"Now, Emeralds, what sound does a cow make?" at Harry's unresponsive face, he continued, "What does a cow say?"
"Moo!"
"Good, good! Now," James glanced at Lily nervously. "What does Mommy say?"
Harry giggled happily and said, "No, no, no!" while pointing a accusing finger at James. They all burst out laughing, but their happiness was short lived as Lily stood up, literally seeing red as her hair flew in her face.
"JAMES!" She yelled.
"Uhm, now Harry, what does Daddy say when Mommy is angry?" James stuttered.
"Run!"
