Homer and Lisa's Argument Causes Everything
Homer: "Am I interrupting anything?"
Lisa: "Dad! Hang on!"
Lisa nervously tries unclamping her hands from Edmund.
Homer steps right between Edmund and Lisa and forcefully unlocks their hands.
Homer, sternly: "You! stay away from my daughter!"
Lisa tries to explain to Homer what they were doing.
Homer, staring at Lisa: "And you, you're grounded for another week!"
Lisa: "But, Dad, I didn't do-"
Homer, angrily: "GROUNDED FOR ANOTHER WEEK!"
Lisa turns right over to walk away, but Homer walked right up with her.
Homer: (right after catching Lisa hanging around with Edmund, the young vampire boy when she wasn't supposed to) "Lisa, come on, let's talk about this, okay?"
Lisa: "Dad, seriously, how could you embarrass me like this in front of my good friends?"
Homer: "You deliberately went where you weren't supposed to go!"
Lisa: "You can't control my entire life!"
Homer: "I'm trying to protect you from vampire people, Lisa, that's exactly what fathers do!"
Lisa: "Well sometimes I just wish you didn't even exist!"
Homer's now stunned and shocked by Lisa's words.
Marge: "She's just a bit upset, Homer. [to their 8 year old daughter] Lisa, it's not the end of the universe."
