Chapter One: Last Day Of School

Kagome walked to school quietly in the middle of Kazuo and Emiko. She was thinking of the Feudal Era again. It had been a month since the final battle.

*Flashback*

The Inutachi were walking towards what they hoped would be the final shard before the battle with Naraku.

Sesshomaru had joined the group a month before be there for the final battle. No matter how many sits or beating Inuyasha would never learn not to antagonize Sesshomaru. Surprisingly yet unsurprisingly Kagome and Kazuo were able to get on friendly, maybe even on sibling terms with him.

Kagome's half-brother Kazuo had joined them a year ago. He had come home from his dad's, Yusuke Urameshi's house and needless to say, he was not happy to find his sister crying over a boy. He asked *coughs* demanded *coughs* Kagome to let him travel with her. The first thing he did was beat Inuyasha up and threaten to kill him if he ever made Kagome cry again.

Koga had joined them a week after Sesshomaru. It took one punch in the throat from Kazuo and for Kagome to threaten to put the rosary around his neck for him to realize she doesn't like him.

Naraku had attacked mid-afternoon. Sango was fighting Kohaku while Miroku was fighting the horde of demons nearby. Koga was fighting Kagura with Ayame. Kazuo was fighting Hakudoshi, Bankotsu gave him Banryuu when he died. No one knows why, but they believe Kazuo to be Bankotsu's reincarnation. That had started a lot more arguments between him and Inuyasha.

Sesshomaru was fighting Naraku with Kagome and Inuyasha.

Shippo was helping to protect Rin with Ah-Uh and Jaken.

It had taken an hour of fighting and a combined attack of Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, Kagome, and Kagura who had betrayed Naraku and joined their side.

There was a loud scream that Kagome and Sesshomaru instantly recognized it as Rin. Turning towards Rin quickly they both saw Rin frantically shaking Kazuo who was laying down surrounded by a pool of blood with an arrow sticking out of his back. Kagome moved to run to him only to be stopped by an arrow flying in her path. She looked to see who fired the arrow and gasped.

"Kikyo?!" She shouted surprised.

While everyone was staring at Kikyo in shock, Kagome took the chance to run over to Kazuo.

She carefully picked him up and held his body close to him. She could hear his shallow breathing against her neck while she whispered how he couldn't leave her and that he would get the help he needed.

Sesshomaru calmly walked over to Rin and Kagome. He paid no mind to the sounds of Inuyasha demanding Kikyo why she would shoot Kazuo. He already knew she had been working with Naraku. How Inuyasha never figured it out, was a mystery to him.

He sighed when Kagome's cries became more anguish; it was clear to everyone in the clearing the Kazuo had died from blood loss.

Glancing back at her companions, he could see the monk and slayer looking at Kagome with sympathy.

Kagome sniffed and looked up when she heard someone step in front of her. "Se-Sesshomaru?"

"I owe you and your brother both a debt for both of you protecting Rin when this Sesshomaru was unable to." Sesshomaru said getting down on one knee.

She watched him wondering what he was doing as he dug his claws into his hand before picking up Kazuo's hand and making a cut on his palm. He then squeezed his hand so that their blood would mix. 'A blood bond.' She thought remembering what Shippo had told her. She had to close her eyes as a bright light surrounded Kazuo.

Opening them, she was surprised to see that Kazuo had turned into a fox demon. He stayed mostly the same, but he now had a navy blue crescent moon although it was hard to tell with his bangs, cute black fluffy black ears with silver tips, and nine black tails also with silver tips switching lazily underneath him.

Kagome looked up from Kazuo when she heard Sesshomaru stand up. "Thank you, Sesshomaru," Kagome said with a smile as she wiped her face. "He will need the training to control his demon side. I will train you and the kit too in exchange for you to teach Rin." Sesshomaru said looking down at her.

When Kazuo opened his eyes and groaned she looked down and noticed that he now had amber gold eyes.

*End Flashback*

They had found out not that long after that Kazuo became a fox demon because of his fox-like personality.

She had grown since her adventures in the Feudal Era. Her hair now reached midthigh, and thankfully it was wavy and not straight like Kikyo's. She now had a body any model would die to have. Her eyes were now a crystal blue from unlocking her full powers.

Not long after moving into Sesshomaru's castle she had done a blood adoption with Shippo while Sesshomaru did one with Rin. With her concealment spell off she had red streaks in her hair, beautiful blue-green eyes, fluffy black eats with hints of red and nine black tails with hints of red.

Looking over at Kazuo she noticed he had grown too. His hair now reached midback, and it kept it in a braid just like Bankotsu. He had muscles and a six pack from working out; they could kind of be seen even with his uniform on. Which unfortunately for him caused him to gain a fan club. Not that she could talk she had one too. She chuckled and wondered what his fan club would think when if he were ever to take off his concealment spell in front of them. They'd probably faint with nosebleeds.

She looked at Emiko and smiled a little. They had met her the beginning of Senior year. She was the only one to notice that she and Kazuo weren't happy. She had walked up to them and started a conversation with them hoping it would cheer them up. A couple of months later they told her their past, at first they thought she would think they were lying but were shocked when she just grinned and said she knew real-life superheroes. She has dark brown hair and hazel brown eyes. Her skin tone was a healthy pale. And her body was the shape of a pear.

She was a computer whiz and now thanks to them she was a cat demon as well. With her concealment spell of she still had her dark brown her now she had amber gold eyes like Kazuo. Her eyes were fluffy, and she had six fluffy tails too.

They were all wearing the standard school uniform, with their concealment spells on and was headed to their first class of the day.

*Amity Park*

Danny grinned as he walked with Sam and Tucker to their first-period class. For the first time in his life, he was happy to go to class because it was going to be the last time he would be in it! Today was the last day of school, and he was a senior. It had taken a lot of extra credit work and late night studying in between fighting ghosts but dammit he made it, and he was ready to go!

Things were finally starting to look up for him. Not only had he been accepted into his first choice university but Sam and Tucker had been as well!

Casper University (couldn't think of a name) was a two-hour drive away from Amity Park or in his case a fifteen-minute flight. It was also an hour away from Jazz's University. So he would be able to visit Jazz and check, his parents and Dani (she's never died in this story) while helping her with the ghosts on the occasional weekend.

He looked at Sam and watched as she was saying something to Tucker. After the whole Undergrowth thing, Sam was still able to control plants to some degree. After practicing throughout high school, she was now able to control them like a pro. They had realized during their sophomore year that they loved each other like a brother and sister.

Giving her a quick once over he realized how much she had grown in the last few years. Her hair was now midback, and no longer had its usual ponytail. Her body was now toned out and more filled out. He remembered the hate-filled glares Paulina had sent her that one day back then he couldn't figure out why she did but now he knew. She now wore black cargo shorts that stopped midthigh, a plain purple (Me: it's indigo Danny -_-) shirt, and black boots.

Glancing at Tucker, he grinned when he saw that he had grown too. He was still slightly scrawny, but he now had some muscles. He still wore green cargo pants and his brown boots but instead of a yellow long sleeve it was now white, and he had on a red hat on backward.

Looking back ahead as they walked into their class he could only wonder what the future had in store for them.
