Beaches in the land of the Mist were not well reknown for their beauty. The beaches stretched along the torrid brims of the ocean, not blessed with soft sandy bedding, but nests of worn and weathered rocks. The sky hung like a dirtied rag, splochy and grey, stretching far into drab horizon.
A thick, foggy haze mingled over the restless waters, advancing slowly inland, the only indication that a dreary place such as this was capeable of such stifling heat. It was unbearably humid; it wore the body and liquified the mind.
So, in the end, it was the temperature that drove the citizens to the back to the beaches, despite the haggard coastline and the underlying danger.
It was all rather convienient, really.
On a grandoise formation of rock, perched among a flock of amiable sea gulls, a lone figure sat, his legs dangling over the water. The twitch of his brow suggested his impatience and annoyance; Not only for the birds that were gathering in the cove, but for the aggrivatingly silent waters.
A sudden break in the water sent large fat droplets of water into the air, and the heaving breaths of another being immedietly caught the man's attention.
Through the mist, a large lumbering figure stumbled through the tide, dragging the remains of what looked like a human body with him.
The man on the rock stood, the flock of birds rising into the sky with him, and flung a massive black cloak at the approaching figure.
"When will this sport of yours cease?" He called out.
Dropping the carcass into the shallow water, Kisame caught his cloak with no trouble, flinging it about his shoulders and continuing onto the shore.
Itachi clicked his tongue accusingly, as a mother scolding her child would, but glanced over the bloody remains with a very bored look on his face. Jumping off the rock to join his partner, he caught the pleased, euphoric look on Kisame's face and the ugly shade of red that stained his teeth. He bristled.
"Stop smiling, you son of a bitch."
It took all of Kisame's strength to hide his guilty smirk as he followed his partner towards the safety of the forest.
AN Ah, the joys of being a shark. This was just for fun; not continuing. Thanks for reading though.
