The New Navi
"Lan.Lan.LAN. Are you paying attention!"
"Urrph...mrr.umm.huh"
"Lan you were sleeping in class again! Detention! After school today." Mrs.Mari commanded.
The class giggles hysterically.
"Awwwwwwwwww! Do I have to?"
"Yes you do now pay attention or you'll have detention for a week! Do you understand."
"Yes Mrs.Mari _" says Lan somberly.
After school, Lan finishes detention and walks out. He looks at the time.
"OH!No!"
Lan races back to his house.
Megaman's pet lights up.
"Hey Lan, what's the hurry?"
"Urrr.I'm late.*huff,huff* must *huff* meet Mayl *huffhuff* online...20 minutes late."
"Well that is your fault considering you did fall asleep in class...again."
Lan opens his door.
"No time for that Megaman."
Lan almost reaches his door. His mother appears out of nowwhere blocking his entrance to his room.
"And where have you been mister?"
Lan gazes up at his mother. She has fire in her eyes.
"Ehehehehehehehe! Just uhh...helping around the neighborhood."Lan lied
Lan's mother studies his face for a few moments.
"Oh yay! My little boy helping people out. I'll cook up something extra special for you tonight dear.^_^"
"Ehehehe sure mom. ^_^'. See ya."
Late enters his room.
"Lan I can't believe you, how can you lie to your mother like that."
"Ehehe, well I couldn't tell her I had another -*beep**beep* huh, oh e-mail."
The mail Lan recieved is from Mayl.
"Lan your late! Check in the net now meet me in ACDC Square."
Lan approaches his shiny new computer. He pulls his pet out. His eyes gleam with excitement.
"Jack in, Mega-"
"Uhh LAN!"
"What's wrong?"
"Just see!"
Ten viruses spring up on the screen.
"Megaman, take 'em out!"
Megaman fires his buster cannon. More and more viruses are deleted but alot more keep coming back.
"Megaman transferring chips Sword A, Widesword A, and Long Sword A. Take 'em all out with a single swipe!"
A long slender gleaming sword materializes in Megaman's right arm.
"Initiallizing combo, LifeSword1"
With a single mighty slash Megaman takes out his enemies. This time the enemies don't reapear.
"Lan. What was that all about?"
"I don't know."Said Lan with a shrug.
"Oh well."
Lan once again seizes his PET.
"Megaman jack in, EXECUTE!"
Megaman is flung into the net. After a while of searching and some virus busting Megaman finds the entrance to ACDC square. There he sees Roll.
"Hello Megaman! Your late."
"Uhuh All because of Lan-"
"Anyways Mayl why weren't you in school today?" Lan interrupts.
"Oh nothing I just had some errands to do for Mrs.Marie. It's not like I missed much I did get my homework for the day so I'm not behind."
"O.K so why did you ask me to meet you on the net."
"Wait a few seconds please I'm waiting for Yai."
They wait some time all the while talking about the mysterious viruses popping up in thier PETs.
"Yes that's true Megaman. As soon as we tried Jacked into the net the viruses materialized out of now where." said Roll to Megaman.
"I wonder what could have caused it?"
Just as Megaman asked this question a commercial navi bumped bumped into megaman. For a milisecond Megaman felt a surge of power from the Navi.
"Must have been something wrong with my circuits." thought Megaman to himself.
"Hey wait a minute Glide is late. Wonder where he is." said Roll.
"Yeah and Yai too come to think of it." Mayl said.
*BEEP*BEEP*BEEP*
"OH No! It's Yai!" Lan yelled, "Seems urgent!"
"Help!Help!It's glide!"
"Megaman jack out!"
