"You told me not to pursue it! You told me he was guilty! And I believed you." Remus snarled at the Headmaster.
"I did not know," answered Dumbledore, "No more than you did, Remus."
"I - DID - KNOW! I TOLD YOU HE WAS INNOCENT! I TOLD YOU, AND YOU TOLD ME TO FORGET IT! you - TWELVE YEARS HE ROTTED IN THAT CELL! TWELVE YEARS AND YOU DID NOTHING! you - you..." the werewolf drew himself up, stopped his shaking and drew a deep breath. Dumbledore looked at him, worriedly.
"Remus?"
"I quit." Remus said bluntly, before turning and walking out the door.
Well, that was my first 100 word Drabble! Yay me! Anyway, I was reading Marauder Era head canons and this little bugger showed up. So, naturally I had to write it! I really do believe that this was part of why Remus left...hey maybe even Snape didn't actually tell about Remus' condition and Remus made up that story so Harry wouldn't know his Godfather could have been saved from Azkaban. So, anyhow, hope you really liked it!
