A/N: So this is a quick oneshot I did for a close friend from school. I know it's not the longest oneshot or the greatest, but she liked it so I decided to post it. I hope you all enjoy it and please review! Hope you enjoy it, Kristen!
Disclaimer: I don't own Black Butler. Or Kuroshitsuji. However you want to say it!
When Ciel opened his eyes, he was nestled in Sebastian's arms, walking through a dark field full of white and navy blue roses. It was so morbidly beautiful, Ciel thought.
"I see you're awake, bochan," Ciel heard his butler's smooth voice.
"Sebastian, we're in Hell, aren't we? It's different from what I pictured…" his voice trailed off at the end looking around once more. He wafted in the smell of the roses surrounding them. "I didn't expect roses. Well, ones that were alive, at least."
"Yes, we are. Welcome to the Underworld."
"You know, Sebastian, I feel…good. I feel better than I have in a long time. I feel airy and open, like there used to be weights strapped to my limbs and mind, but now…now I'm released from my burden."
Sebastian fought a scowl, for such a thing would be a disgrace for a butler of his stature. Instead he kept a monotone face and replied, "Yes, and in return, I am forever trapped under contract."
Ciel smiled a wry smile at Sebastian, "You are my butler, now and forever. You will be my faithful servant for the rest of eternity. You will continue to protect me as you have and you will tend to me as always."
Ciel could see plainly this angered the older demon, and it amused Ciel to no end every time he saw that look. Ciel might've pitied the demon for the turn of events if it didn't benefit and please him so much. In fact, Sebastian had been a good friend and the perfect butler during their time on Earth. Sebastian was the one person Ciel could trust with his life and could rely on.
Thinking back on all their adventures and all the events that took place within the last few months, Ciel felt happy and fulfilled with the way things turned out. Only a tiny part of Ciel wished he could still have his friends with him. Finnian, Mey-Rin, Bardroy, Tanaka, Lizzy. He'd miss them all, but he wouldn't wish this on them. The knowledge of demons was too harsh for them, especially his delicate Lizzy. He quickly shoved these thoughts from his head and cleared his mind.
A breeze fluttered through the field, pulling petals from the delicate flowers and whipping them in the wind, carrying them off to unknown places. Ciel noticed they were on a cliff, and as Sebastian neared the edge, Ciel noticed that there were other plateaus jutting out of the rocky, gray ground beneath them.
Around him the scene was what a near typical Hell would look like, minus all the fire. He saw dark, shadowed figures flitting around in hurry and saw others with demonic red eyes.
Every last pair of eyes were settled up on the ledge he and Sebastian were. He knew the must looked like the odd pair. Him, a tiny 13-year-old human boy nestled in the arms of a much more mature demon wearing a butler's attire. Sebastian brushed off the looks and turned his gaze to his young master's bi-colored eyes. "Welcome to Hell," he repeated, "the place which hold no mercy for demons and humans alike, your new home."
"You have only one answer now, do you remember what it is?"
The butler's face hardened, "Yes, my lord."
And with that, Sebastian leaped down towards the rocky ground and Ciel did nothing more than grin at his faithful and eternal servant.
