HEYO! LAVENDEROWLX WRITIN' HERE! SO I'VE BEEN WANTING TO WRITE A FANFICTION BUT COULDN'T FIND ANY INSPIRATION. AND SINCE I'VE BEEN OBSESSED WITH OURAN HIGHSCHOOL HOSTCLUB FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, IV'E DECIDED TO WRITE A FANCITION STORY ABOUT THE SELFISH, BUT CARING HIKARU! SO PLEASE ENJOY THIS STORY!
Hikaru didn't understand. He couldn't believe it. He just didn't know why it had to happen. Once Tamaki had said that one statement, those three little words; "We are dating." Hikaru felt his heart shatter into a million pieces. He couldn't breathe, his heart beat quickened and his vision began to get blurry.
"Hikaru?"
Hikaru snapped back to reality. He then noticed everybody staring at him.
"Hikaru, are you okay?" asked Kaoru. Hikaru put his hand on his head, he was getting a headache. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. I-it's just that...I... uh, I-I just need some air!" Hikaru suddenly sprinted out of the room.
"Hikaru!" he heard Kaoru calling out to him, but he didn't care. On his way out he passed Kato as she walked into the. "Sup guy-" she greeted but never got to finish as he zoomed past her. He ran down the quiet halls and into the first room he saw and shut the door behind. He slid down to the floor and put his head into his knees as he tried to keep himself from screaming.
Kato walked down the silent halls, wearing the Ouran boys uniform. She greatly disliked the girls uniform, saying she'd rather walk in front of a moving bus then wear that piece of yellow shit.
She finally made it to the music room and opened the large door.
"Sup guy-"
Hikaru then ran past her and out the door. "Hikaru!" Kaoru ran after him. She turned around and watched them run off. Kato walked up to everyone else in the middle of the room.
"What the hell was that about?"she questioned.
Haruhi shrugged. "I have no idea."
"Maybe it has something to do with Haru-chan and Tama-chan going out." Honey intervened
Kato's eyes widened. "Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, you guys are 'hitting the sack'?"
"'Hitting the sack'?"
"You know, 'crunching the corn shell'."
Haruhi looked stuck. "What-
"I think she's trying to ask you if you are 'going out'." Kyoya interuppted. Tamaki smiled. "Oh, then yes we are!"
Kato smiled too. "Wow, congrats you guys!"
"HIKARU!" Kaoru ran down the empty hallway, desperate to find Hikaru. "HIKARU" he called once more. He ran and stopped in front of a door. 'I think i saw him run into here.' He slowly opened the large door.
"Hikaru?" Kaoru looked to the left of the room and saw Hikaru. "Hikaru!" Kaoru ran over to where he was sitting. "Hikaru, what's wrong?"
Hikaru sighed. "What's wrong? What's wrong Kaoru?! Everything's wrong!"
"What do you mean-
"What I mean is that this wasn't supposed to happen! Haruhi and Tamaki going out!"
"Hikaru-
"DAMMIT, WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN?!" Hikaru pounded his fist on the ground.
"HIKARU!" Kaoru grabbed his shoulders and shook him furiously. Hikaru finally shut up. "Hikaru look, I know you that you're upset and confused right now, but you have to face the facts. Tamaki and Haruhi are dating, and you love her. But maybe , it just wasn't meant to be."
Hikaru's eyes widened from shock. "Y-You're right." Hikaru's gaze met the floor and he tightly closed his eyes.
'It just wasn't meant to be.'
