Listen to what I have to say

It will do you know harm

To open an ear

And close a mouth

The words I speak are true

Will cause you no pain

The wise man will listen

And take heed

While the foolish man

Will laugh and ignore

Will you choose to be foolish

Or wise?

Will you listen to the words

I'm about to speak?

Can you understand their meaning?

Will you listen to my words,

To think before you speak?
