lostmoonchild: Okay, this idea came to me after my little cousin asked what it meant if one grasshopper was on another grasshopper. Obviously, I wasn't about to explain the birds and the bees to him so I simply told him that they were wrestling. Anyway, I don't own Inuyasha. Just this story.
Facts of Life
"Sesshomaru-sama, where do babies come from?"
Sesshomaru stared at his young charge, barely managing to hide his surprise, before closing his eyes. "Why do you want to know, Rin?" Sesshomaru questioned.
"Rin heard some women in the last village talking about babies and Rin wanted to know where babies came from."
Of course. Sesshomaru should have known that Rin would listen to human women talking. He learned very quickly that Rin listened to EVERYTHING that was being said around her.
Already, Sesshomaru could feel a headache coming on.
"Babies come from women." Sesshomaru answered, hoping almost desperately Rin would be satisfied with that answer.
"Will Rin have children?"
"When you find a mate."
"What will my mate do, Sesshomaru-sama?"
"He will…um…"
Rin stared at Sesshomaru with an intense look. Obviously Sesshomaru wasn't used to trying to explain such matters regarding where babies came from. "What will he do, Lord Sesshomaru?" Rin pressed, amazed to find Sesshomaru was beginning to blush.
"Every man has a part of him that he will stick into his mate."
"Where?"
Okay, maybe Rin needed more explaining to than he had expected. Where was his stupid half-brother's bitch when you needed her! Sesshomaru frowned slightly before saying, "He'll stick himself in his mate's cave."
"Cave?"
"Yes. Yours is untouched and will be untouched by males until you have a mate."
"I still don't see where babies come from."
Sesshomaru's cheeks darkened considerably which was honestly amazing to Rin. "When a male is in his bitch's cave, he will release his seed which will go to the bitch's um…" Sesshomaru stopped for a minute trying to think. "A bitch has a special garden hidden deep in her cave. The male's seed will seek out that garden and when its found, a baby will begin to form."
"From a garden?"
"It's a special garden."
Rin looked thoughtful as she processed the information in her mind. After a few minutes, Rin nodded. "Okay, Lord Sesshomaru. Thank you." Rin said happily.
Sesshomaru sighed a little and looked up at the stars, silently cursing whatever God figured that it'd be hilarious to watch him trying to explain the facts of life to Rin. Hopefully the next time he ran into Inuyasha and his pack, he'd be able to talk Inuyasha's bitch into explaining to Rin about a woman's body when Rin was a little older. Honestly, a woman's body was NOT one of the things Sesshomaru cared to go into a discussion about and that was one thing he would avoid talking about.
