Title: She loves me - He loves me not
Raiting: PG
Pairing: Pretty much Gelphie
Verse: Book but fits musical too.
Summery: Glinda is trying to figure out her love life with a little help from her friend of course.
Notes: Another prompt given to me by a friend. Just something short and sweet. The prompt was 'Daisy'.
She loves me – He loves me not
"He loves me…he loves me not-" the blond girl pulled another white petal from the daisy in her hand. "He loves me…he loves me not. Ugh not again-" she threw the flower away and ripped another from the ground beside her.
"How many have you gone through now Glinda?" Elphaba asked, peeking up from behind her book.
"I don't know. I start differently each time yet I still end on 'he loves me not'. It's impossible" she started ripping petals off her new flower. "He loves me…he loves me not…he loves me-"
Beside her Elphaba shook her head and went back to her book. However her friend's constant groans were making it hard to concentrate. "You know maybe Fiyero just isn't the one."
"What?" Glinda looked up. "What do you mean?"
"I know that flowers is no way to determine if someone loves you or not. However maybe the fact that not a single flower on the school grounds says he loves you should be a hint?"
Glinda laughed as she picked up a new flower. "That's silly Elphie. You can't blame the poor flowers."
She was about to rip the first petal off but she stopped herself. She looked over at her friend, now buried in her book once more. Then down at the flower in her hand. Slowly she pulled the white petals away…
She loves me
She loves me not
She loves me
She loves me not
A smile formed as the last petal fell to the grass "She loves me-"
