There was this …. incident with Sunset Shimmer…" Twilight said slowly. The princess smiled and lit her horn. Two seconds later the chariot arrived at the window. "Go home, Twilight. Your friends must be very worried." Twilight smiled gratefully at the princess then got in.

...BACK AT THE CASTLE OF FRIENDSHIP...
"OMG TWILIGHT! WE'VE BEEN SOOOO WORRIED WE THREW YOU A PARTY LOOK EVERYONE'S HERE EVEN AJ CAME!" Somepony screamed. Twilight felt arms wrapped round her body and her breath squeezed from her ribs. She looked down to see Pinkie squeezing her. She slowly slipped free and walked over to her other friends, Pinkie bouncing behind her. "Hey guys…" Twilight for once had nothing to say, considering she had been seeing them in human form for a month. They all smiled at her and pulled her into a group hug. " Hey Twi, you ain't looking so hot. Are you okay?" AJ said. Twilight looked at her and was about to agree but remembered that AJ was the element of honesty. She shook her head slowly. "Oh goodness, are you hurt? Did someone hurt you? Is your crown okay?" said Flutter shy. Twilight snickered " Pftt.. no 'Shy.. it's not that.. I…. I'm just tired.. I think I need to go to bed.. sorry guys"
Her friends looked at each other worriedly. Twilight NEVER stopped a party. " Well.. it's quite alright,dear. We can always meet up later,no?" said Rarity. "Yeah… okay well good night guys" Everypony said then went home, leaving a regretful Twilight standing alone in the big hall, balloons and streamers floating around her. Tears started dripping from the lavender mare's eyes as she realized what her hesitation had done. Why didn't she just lie, say it was okay? Now her friends went home, she was alone, and Pinkie Pie was probably puzzling over her behavior. But then.. when she stepped through the portal, she never expected.. them to show up. Now ther human forms were probably missing her while the pony forms had her. It was messed up. Why did they have two dimensions when she had one? Why wasn't there a human Twilight? She couldn't wrap her head round it so she decided to think about it later and went to bed still regretful.
