Kazahaya swayed and clung to the doorframe, squinting determinedly at his employer. "But... Kakei-san... can I just...?"

"I'm afraid not, Kudou-kun," the owner of Green Drugstore replied with false sympathy. "We're closed on all public holidays. You really should stock up on simple medicines just in case you fall ill on holidays, you know."

"I know, but I didn't, and--" Kazahaya let go of the door for a few seconds to grasp after Kakei's arm. When he missed, his shoulder crashed back against the doorframe. "Ughhh... I feel really bad, Kakei-san..."

Kakei smiled over the rim of his glasses, patted Kazahaya on the forearm and said, "Then you should be getting back to bed, Kudou-kun. I'm sure Rikuo wouldn't mind looking after you until we open up tomorrow morning."

And with that, he left Kazahaya sputtering in the hallway and calmly closed the door to his bedroom. He crossed the room softly, bare feet uncomfortable, now, on the cold floor. He set his glasses gently aside as he reached the bed and sat down carefully, though he knew there was very little that could wake Saiga when he was deeply asleep.

There was a tell-tale twitch in the dark-haired man's shoulders before he rolled to sling an arm over Kakei's stomach, pulling the precognitive down into soft, pillowy warmth again. Kakei made a soft, comfortable humming sound as he snuggled back into Saiga's larger bulk, arching his neck as the dark-haired man brushed teasing kisses against the pale, sensitive flesh.

"Sorry to wake you," he murmured, twisting to face his lover with a smile more genuine than the one he had offered Kazahaya. Saiga grinned.

"I don't believe you," he replied, eyes a-gleam, hands already smoothing down the skin of Kakei's back.

The precog couldn't really blame him. With the enthusiastic kisses they were sharing, he wouldn't believe he was sorry, either.
