It was hard watching him suffer. Knowing that he could help take the pain away.

But Yuki would never let him get that close, would never allow an instance of vulnerability. So Hatsuharu watches and waits, until the day that the mask of perfection cracks and Yuki will be in dire need of comfort.

There will be Haru, ready to deliver said comfort. For Haru knows he is the salve Yuki has always had but never use on his innumerous wounds. He is the one that understands the darkness within the Prince and loves it as much as the rest of him.

Touru is a wonderful girl, an angel that had descended and taken up residence in their own version of Hell. But Haru knows that she is no competition for him. She is too pure and thus cannot and will not be the one to save Yuki from himself when the darkness finally overcomes him.

And it will happen, Haru knows this better than anyone else, and there is little that can be done to try and contain it. Haru knows that it will be to him that Yuk turns, when he realizes that he is becoming what he hates more than anything in this world: Akito. When that moment comes Haru will be ready. And then he will save Yuki as Yuki had saved him so many years ago.

So Haru watches and waits.
