Hey, this is just something I needed to get out of my system. Its based off of the song "Her Diamonds" by Rob Thomas. Criticize if you'd like, Review if you feel like it.

I look in to her sad eyes. The crystal blue sparkles with unshed tears, the pain threatening to overwhelm her. I could see it.
I felt her warm body collapse on me as she sought out the warmth of my arms, hoping that I could ease some of the misery that she was feeling.
I don't know what to do, so I wrap my arms around her, trying to take away the pain, futilely trying to absorb the hurt. The tears begin to leak from my eyes too, it seems right. My best friend is hurting, and I can't help her.
As she breaks the embrace, she rises, slowly walking to the window, the moonlight reflects from the tears streaming down her face, her form looks eerily beautiful in the pale beams, her features illuminated.
"Miley?" I ask feebly, my words breaking the silence harshly, seeming like daggers in the stillness.
"You know, its funny how sometimes, the night makes you blind." Her voice is raw, and her words are broken. You can feel the tender grief in her words, see it on her face. It's almost as though her very aura is quiet sorrow.
Her words need no answer, I can think of nothing that would ease her pain. She moves again, slowly moving to sit on her bed, hunching. I've never seen her look so small, so vulnerable, as she does in this moment.
I sit next to her, touching her now seems almost sac religious. I can't help her now. The tears flow freely from my eyes, but I hide them from her view.
"I just can't win for losing." She looks at me, a watery, half-smile on her lips. She looks away again, an intense concentration coming over her pretty features.
I touch her now, wrapping myself around her feeble, shaking form. I kiss her temple, as her diamonds keep falling to the floor, the gray morning light beginning to creep into the room.
