Aloha! This is just an AU one shot. It's based off the first scene of the first wives club and my daily life. I put in another Elric sibling. I also put it in modern times. If you like it I'll put the whole story up. If you flame please be constructive. I'm open to light criticism. Well without further ado, here's the fic!

It was 8:30am and I tripped over my welcome mat into my house. My children were probably worried sick. I looked up to see two figures standing in my kitchen. I gave a small yep but it was only my two sons.

"Al, Ed, I thought you had class today." Al, my youngest, shrugged.

"It snowed last night so morning classes were canceled."

"Where were you last night?" Ed, my eldest, demanded.

"I was a-a-at a friend's…" I wavered. He knew good and well wear I've been.

"You were with that man again weren't you!" He whined. I sighed I knew this was going to happen.

"Sweetie he is your father." I said putting down my purse.

"He's using you ." Ed stated sipping his coffee.

"We were just talking and—"

"You're a doormat!" He interrupted. HE was starting to annoy me.

"What is with you? Why are you so crabby today?" I asked. Then I had a small revalation "It's a girl isn't it? You never had talent with girls."

"Mom, I'm gay." He replied flatly.

"What! I nearly killed over. What a way to drop the bomb.

"I'm gay but that's not the issue here…"

"Well, Honey when you say gay…"

"Don't tell dad I want to tell him myself like on fathers day or Christmas Morning…" Ed said smugly sipping at his coffee.

"Ed…At least tell me his name."

"Roy." Al answered for is brother.

"Roy who?"

"Roy Mustang." Ed quipped

"Ride 'em cowboy." Al joked laughing uncontrollably.

"Al!" Ed cried looking absolutely mortified. I would have said something too if my middle child, El, hadn't burst through the front door.

"Oh, thank God you're home! I was worried. Where were you who saw you?"

"Who saw me what?"I had no idea what she meant by that.

"She was sleeping with dad." Ed said pour his younger twin a cup of black coffee.

"Mom, Why!"

"He's your father and I love him." I stated firmly.

"Mom, he used to think you poisoned his food and I'm the one who cooks."

"The physiatrist is working with him on that." I said standing my ground. Al groaned I knew he hated the idea of family therapy. "Oh and by the way did you know your brother was gay?"

"Yeah mom that old news. You're late on things." She said getting the ingredients for her famous chocolate chip pancakes.

"I should've let you three go to a college farther away." I sighed playfully.

"We wouldn't do that, mom." Al said smiling.

"And why not." I retorted.

"We love you to much." Ed said grinning.

"Yeah a life without you is like a life without chocolate. And you know how much I love chocolate."

"I know you all love me." I said warmly. I loved mornings like these. Just my kids and me.

Finished! You like? I hope so. If you flame be gentle please. Thank you for your time!
