I found myself wallowing in all the angst I usually write, so I thought I'd try something more lighthearted this time. My friend Ashley picked the prompts and Keitsumi-chan picked out the pairing.
NOTE: I have the drabble table I'm using on my profile and I'd be more than happy to take requests. I do these drabbles in sets of five, so I just need the set you'd like and a pairing.
21. Addiction
Neji never said a word. He watches her carefully, constantly. He sees her fierce smiles after a successful mission. He sees her dance gracefully through enemy kunai and jutsu alike, destroying every enemy in sight. He sees her bright smiles. Her cheeks color a light pink whenever she sees him looking. She laughs loudly and joyfully. She's not ladylike. Not gentle. Her cooking leaves much to be desired and she'll never stop being a kunoichi. She would rather play with knives than play dress-up. Her nature goes against his entire upbringing. Maybe that's why she is all Neji can see.
