And that was when Cain lost count of how many spoonfuls of sugar Glitch had put into his tea. Cain had surprised Glitch that morning by bringing breakfast for them both to Glitch's lab. While Glitch hadn't gotten his brain back yet they had found that if he was surrounded by things from his past he was more likely to unconsciously remember things. Once that fact had been discovered Glitch spent hours on end in Ambrose's old lab, he would often forget to eat unless Cain or DG came to get him. Knowing this Cain had just skipped one step and brought a tray full of ripe fruits, steaming bacon, eggs, a pot of hot water, and two tea bags. There were also two smaller cups of sugar and milk on the tray as some people liked those in their tea.

Glitch's eyes had lit up at the breakfast tray. He quickly cleared off a small table and took it out to the balcony and then brought two chairs out for them to use. Glitch had barely nibbled on a piece of bacon, although he devoured the fruit when he had taken the tea pot and poured some of the water into his cup. After the water was poured the sugar was added… and was still being added.

"Would you like some tea with your hot sugar Sweetheart?" Cain questioned in an amused tone. Glitch blinked and looked up at him, then back down at the cup.

"There is something missing from this isn't there?" Glitch asked. Cain nodded.

"Usually people add a little bit of sugar to their tea, not the other way around."

"Oh well… I'm not like other people. But there is still something missing."

Glitch studied the cup, pondering over what could be missing before he smiled and picked up one of the tea bags. Using his spoon he wetted the bag, placed the bag on his spoon and wrapped the string of the bag around and around until a few drops of the juice from the tea leaves dripped into the cup. Glitch laid the bag down then, stirred his hot sugar with tea flavoring and then took a sip. He hummed in pleasure.

"Perfect!" He exclaimed. Cain just chuckled and leaned over to catch Glitch's lips in a sugary, barely tea flavored kiss.
