Summary- Chloe and Alek are decorating their first child's nursery. While they are admiring it they start talking/arguing about baby names and if it would be a boy or a girl.

3rd person

Chloe and Alek stood admiring there work.

"It absolutely perfect!" Chloe smiled.

"I'm glad. After we worked so hard to make it perfect for little Cory." Alek told me.

"I think Rylynn will fit better." Chloe told Alek.

"Chloe. The baby is going to be a little girl named Cory Delilah Petrov!" He said sternly.

"No, Alek. Its going to be a boy named Rylynn Christopher Petrov!" She countered.

"Well at least we agree on the fact that her last name will be Petrov." Alek commented.

"Well I don't think Rylynn Christopher King sounds as good as Rylynn Christopher Petrov." Chloe retorted.

"Girl!"

"Boy!"

"Girl!"

"Boy!"

"Ok how about this, we'll make it a little interesting. The winner gets the right to name the kid, and the loser has to change diapers, feeding, and burping the first day home." Alek offered.

"You're on." Chloe said with a competitive look in his eyes. He just grinned at her.

"2 more months." Alek smiles.

"I'm really excited." Chloe says as she looks at the room one more time before walking out of the room, leaving Alek.

"Yeah, me too." He says before walking out of the nursery.

***2 months later***

"One more push and she should be out." The doctor yelled.

"She?" Chloe cried. She looked at a grinning Alek.

"Well let's welcome little Cory Delilah into the world." Alek commented just as the baby started crying. As the nurse took Cory away to clean her off Alek went straight to Chloe.

"Look's like I won that one." Alek teased.

"I'll get you next time. We'll have a little son. Trust me. I know these things." she told him, rolling her eyes.

"Well look forward to changing, feeding and burping." Alek said to his wife. He knew that he would end up doing the dirty work that came with having a baby. He would do anything to keep his wife calm and happy. Even if that meant waking up 20 times a night.

The nurse handed him his baby girl. She had a tuft of silvery blonde hair and large cloudy blue eyes. She looked up at him and she had an almost puzzled expression on her pink face. Her lips looked partially pursed. I smiled down at her, then she gave me a toothless grin. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Chloe grin and mutter "She's going to be a Daddy's girl."
