Infinity Wrapped Through Eternity

Ami smiled contently as she watched the sun setting over the Tokyo skyline. Up above, the moon was rising and the first stars where beginning to come out of hiding. For her, the stars were the ultimate symbol. They were shining emblems of love and hope lighting up the darkening sky. The stars would always be there, sparkling through eternity.

Her love was a lot like that, she decided. Yes, there was no doubt that this time, she had finally found it, the love that would encompass eternity. But not just eternity, infinity, too. Yes, this was sure to be a love that was infinite, one that could never be measured. But she was also certain that it would be one that would last for all time, and be eternal. So, that would make it an infinite love wrapped through the eternity of time. Yes, she rather liked the sound of that idea.

At that moment, she heard the sliding glass door behind her pull open, then footsteps. She turned around and smiled at her fiance. "Everything alright?" she asked, stepping closer towards him.

"Yes, except that Seiya talks too much sometimes. He really only had something to say that could have taken about two minutes, but instead he decided to carry on and give commentary for ten."

Ami giggled slightly. "You are good to listen to him, though, Taiki."

"I'd rather spend the time with you, though," he smiled. He took her left hand, the same one he had put a sapphire engagement ring on two weeks ago, and kissed it. Ami smiled and blushed a little. "So, what were thinking about out here?"

"Me? Mm, I was watching the sunset and the stars, and contemplating it all."

"Dreams and romance, right?" he asked, looking down at her.

"Hai," she blushed again, looking up to meet his eyes. "You still remember?"

"I had an excellent teacher."

"Arigato."

"So, what were thoughts?" Ami looked down at the ground.

"You really want to know?"

"Hai."

"I've decided that it's both infinite, not able to be measured, and eternal, lasting for all time. It's infinity wrapped in eternity."

"The stars?" he asked.

"Ah, no," she beamed, finally looking up again. "My love - my love for you. Does that make any sense?" she asked. "What do you think?"

The next thing she knew, he was pulling her closer and giving her a passionate kiss. "That's my answer," he whispered into her ear after they broken the kiss. "I share your views and feelings 100 percent." She giggled and gasped slightly as she picked her up bridal style. "Shall we go inside?"

"Mmmm, hmmm," she nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck. "As long as get to be together."

Hello, minna-san! I hope you enjoyed this fluffy one-shot. ;D Anyways, my apologies that I haven't posted anything new until now. I've been doing some thinking and consideration about my writing, and how I could make it better (is that a shout for longer chapters?) rofl. ^_^ I know, I know. Anyways, let me give you a little run-down on what's going on with my stories:

I will be starting a new one soon called How To Love

I will be starting a small story for Ouran HSHC club, also.

Sailor Promise is temporarily on hold until I can get a good idea of what direction I want to take it.

I will also continue to work on Sparkling Collision as I get inspiration. That is definitely one story I want to finish (hopefully by the year's end).

Anyways, there's your report, and thank you for your continued support of my stories. Arigato! ~ Garnet ^^
