A/N: For some reason, my inspiration often comes at night, when I'm trying to sleep. I wouldn't want to waste my inspiration, and I'll get up and start writing. Heck…for the lack of sleep…T.T I'm tired…-.-zzZZ
Disclaimer: If I owned FF7, I wouldn't be writing a fanfiction, and I wouldn't have given Aeris a death scene! I would also make a marriage scene! Muhahahah! Hey, I should write a fic about that… :) Suggestions, anyone?
….((The Cloud That Fell Into The Sky))….
My world was filled with darkness and pain.
My head hurt really badly, and I thought I had died, even when I opened my eyes. The warm welcome that I was met with was too good to be true. I was on a soft bed, with an angel hovering above me. She looked beautiful, even though she had a concerned face. She had two large bangs at each side of her face. Her hair was a light brown colour, while her eyes were a beautiful translucent green. She had her hair braided down to her waist. Her clothing was strikingly familiar. She wore a small red jacket with a long pink dress.
Pink.
Wait a minute…I've seen her before…and I even bought a flower from her…
I looked at my surroundings. Yes, I was on a bed, but on a bed of…flowers. I quickly got up, knowing that I must've flattened the flowers underneath me. As I stood up, my head span. I clutched my head so I wouldn't fall back down. I should've known that I wasn't dead…with all this pain…
"Are you okay?" The flower girl asked.
I turned to her and nodded.
"You gave me a scare. You suddenly crashed through the ceiling and luckily the flower bed broke your fall."
Now I remember what happened. I was with Tifa and Barret in Sector 5 Reactor, fighting that Air Buster thing when the explosion happened, and I fell.
"I…hope the flowers are alright." I said with uncertainty.
"Oh don't worry! You're not that heavy…at least you don't seem to be…" She giggled. She had a cute sense of humor. Cute. For a lack of a better word…or is it?
"So, what's your name?" She broke into my thoughts.
I looked at her again, "Cloud Strife."
"I'm Aeris Gainsborough."
What a nice name. Well, I half expected a nice girl to have a nice name. Or is it her personality that makes it sound so nice?
"Do you…remember me?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I remember you…"
She giggled. As she was doing so, I noticed a man in a suit walk inside the entrance of the church.
"Hey, umm, you're a mercenary, right?"
"Uh, yes." I didn't know what she was getting at.
"Can you be my bodyguard? I don't have much money but I can offer you a date!"
"WHAT?" I practically yelled, wide-eyed, at her suggestion. I wasn't scared, really, but it was…confusing. No girl has ever said that, and, well, it's sad but, I never had a date before.
"A date, okay?" She smiled.
I just nodded. The information couldn't quite get processed in my mind and for some reason, my cheeks were rapidly going warm. As soon as I looked over to the Turk, my face cooled down again. It's as if my body knows who's friendly and who's not.
"Aeris, let's go." I say, as some soldiers started to come inside.
This will be one heck of an adventure.
….((Fin))….
A/N: Wow…that was short, but of course, everyone knows what happens so I'm not going to write the whole story. :) Unless, you guys want me to…but I would need reviews…MUhahahha! Okay, well, maybe not…I don't know, maybe if I'm in the mood...but that's a big MAYBE.
