Riku sighed. Sora was finally asleep in bed and after the day Riku had he was damn glad the boy was asleep. Walking out into the living room he sat on the couch and called Kairi.
"Hello?"
Riku smirked.
"Hey yourself."
He heard the young girl giggle on the other end of the line.
"So how did you boys go?"
Riku's smirk quickly became a grimace as he reflected on the day's proceedings. Never, never again was he going to let Kairi put him up to this.
"I hate you, you know that?"
Kairi burst out laughing on the other end of the telephone.
"That bad Riku?"
Riku grumbled something about getting revenge before proceeding to describe the day to her.
"He took my car keys as soon as we got there and ran off! It took me an hour to find him! And when I did he was attacking a bin with my keys! Kept shouting 'deep freeze' or some shit! He had bought some chewy jellies and you should have seen his face when I ate one. Pure horror! just how much did you let him pack?"
Kairi was gulping air on the other end now and Riku couldn't make out a damned thing. When she finally calmed down she managed to squeak an answer before falling into another fit of laughter.
"TWO!? You let him have TWO!"
Kairi once again calmed herself down enough to answer Riku.
"Well in my defence I didn't know it had anything else in it!"
Riku was beyond agitated.
"Kairi, you had better throw that batch away and get a new one or so help me god I'll give him three and leave him in your hands!"
Kairi grumbled lightly on the other end before encouraging Riku to continue his story.
"Fine, so after I found him he screams at me and hugs me, going on about how he'd missed me and how he had been trying to find me. Then he runs off again! So I, once again, went looking for him and found him half an hour later running around Donald and Goofy. They had no clue what was happening! Then Mickey walks past and he chases him down screaming, 'Your majesty!' Finally I grab him and take the keys off him, giving him a stick as replacement, and then drag his ass off to the car park. Seriously Kairi it was a shit day."
Kairi whined.
"It couldn't have been that shit! Did he at least explain to you what the hell happened?"
Riku groaned.
"Yes."
Kairi lit up again.
"So…"
"So we're driving home and he starts telling me this story about all these different 'worlds' he visited looking for me, you and Mickey Mouse and all about the new 'friends' he made. He was all like, 'Ansem took over you and I had to save you!'. I'm surprised he can even remember our first grade teacher!"
Kairi hummed.
"Seriously Kairi, I am NEVER taking Sora to Disneyland high again!"
So not exactly my best work, but an idea I got stuck in my head. I just really needed to get it out =] It's really hard to try not to give it away too much! anyway much love!
