This is an edited version of my first fanfiction. So, for those who have read it before, I hope that you'll forgive me. *cries*
Anyway I don't own Uta no Prince-Sama, songs, nor quotes. Though I do own Tsubaki and Mikan Hokama.
"Moonlight drowns out all but the brightest stars." -J.R. Tolkien
It was some date in late September, rain was falling and dark, grey clouds covered a once vivid, blue sky. There was a large group of people who wore black, stood beneath umbrellas, and watched as a casket was lowered into the earth. A woman with short strawberry blonde hair was seen with tears streaming down her face, her eyes were not looking at the casket, but they were rather closed. She held a white handkerchief to her mouth as though she was keeping her voice down.
Next to her stood a young man with hair like the sun, eyes blue as the sky. He did not wear his ever famous fedora, instead, he let his height be shown to the others. His eyes were looking at the lowered casket, yet he did not see it. A man began to say an opening eulogy to the deceased, but the young man did not hear him. Though the place that the deceased rested at was crowded with people, the boy felt as though he was the only person.
"There is a poem in which the deceased had wished for us to speak." The man said. He then took out a piece of paper that was folded into a medium sized square out of his pant pocket and began to unfold it. When it was completely unfolded, he straightened the paper and began to read.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunshine on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand by my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die."
Shortest chapter that I will probably write in my life. I hope that you guys enjoyed this superbly short chapter! If you want more of this story, follow, fave, and comment/review! You don't have to do it in that order, but at least do one of those. :
