It's finally here kiddos! Nobody wanted this but I felt like writing some schist.
"Cas?" Castiel Novak tilted his head o see his boyfriends face. They were sprawled out on their sofa, Dean's head on Castiel's shoulder.
"Mm," Castiel mumbled, burying his face in Dean's hair, inhaling the scent of Old Spice and the outdoors.
"What do I look like?"
Castiel froze, slowly drawing back from Dean and easing himself up.
"Cas?" Dean's arms clung to the side of the sofa and Castiel's leg, tensing up.
"S'okay, sitting up." Dean heaves himself so he faces his boyfriend of two years. He sits cross-legged, his milky eyes looking up at Cas, his hand on Cas' knee to know where he was.
Cas puts his hand over Dean's, and runs a hand through his hair.
They moved into the apartment together after meeting three years ago at a party. Dean had practically been clinging onto his friend Charlie, but had somehow confused Charlie's shirt with Castiel's coat. They had become friends, Dean falling in love with Castiel's voice and Castiel with the smaller man's personality.
They sat opposite each other of the leather sofa, knees touching. Dean liked to be grounded to someone, preferably Castiel. People tended to forget Dean couldn't see them and wander off, expecting him to follow, holding someone let him know he wasn't alone.
"I haven't seen my face in... Over twenty years. I could be disgusting for all I know." Dean dropped his head a little. He would have been staring at their entwined hands if he hadn't been blinded by a fire that had killed his mother. The smoke had gotten into his eyes as he charged into the blazing house, determined to rescue his mother. The eight-year-old had stumbled around as ash built up, until a firefighter pulled him out.
The doctors were only able to clear his eyes just enough so he didn't have black whites or iris'.
Castiel gently cupped Dean's face with his free hand.
"Dean Winchester." he began, staring his boyfriend in the eyes, even though it didn't matter.
"You are a galaxy."
Dean frowned. "That doesn't even make sense."
"You're face is dusted by stars." Castiel almost whispered, his face close to the other man's, looking past the milky film to the hazy iris' beyond.
"You're eyes are like a thousand dying suns, never dulling."
Dean nudged Castiel's hand with his cheek, leaning into the touch.
His eyes were raised to were Castiel was sitting, not seeing him, but hoping he was looking close enough at his eyes to have eye contact.
"Your pupils are like black holes... I could get lost in them."
Dean's eyes began to fill with tears, some spilling down his face.
"You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, Dean Winchester."
Castiel had tears in his eyes too.
Slowly, Cas leaned in, brushing his lips against Dean's, who melted instantly into it, his hands coming up to cup Cas' face, their tears mingling.
Castiel drew back just enough to whisper against his lips.
"You are a galaxy and never forget that."
Yay new story.
