My little Pony: Friendship is permitted, by Goldeneagletalon

Prologue: Out of the frying pan.

"Let me Explain this to you, ONE MORE TIME," the lavender colored unicorn said with a exasperated sigh. "I am the founder of a company called Abstergo Industries, and our goal is to make Equestria a better place for every-pony to live in." That was the one part I DID understand, I thought to myself, the part I didn't understand was why Twilight Sparkle needed my help in research. "Apparently your ancestors had a piece of technology that would help my company learn and expand more." She explained, "Think of it as… history research, any more questions?" She concluded. I had plenty of questions, but the only thing I could say was, "When did you have time to build all of this?" as I looked around and observed in awe of all the white, polished walls and floors, with the occasional Abstergo logo painted neatly on the floor and wall.

"I began construction around time when I first arrived in ponyville, its whereabouts are not known to many ponies, not even my closest friends, you should consider yourself privileged Eagleheart." My memory flooded with the five other ponies that accompanied Twilight on some occasions, A blue Pegasus with a Rainbow mane who was known quite fondly around ponyville, her name was Rainbow Dash. Then there was the beautiful unicorn he often admired from afar, Rarity I think her name was, she owned a dress boutique in ponyville. My thoughts of trying to remember the rest of the ponies where cut short by Twilight saying, "I have a device that will allow us to dig into your ancestors memory and help me find the missing artifact I need to continue my companies expansion and research. They entered a Large empty room except for a desk with a expensive looking computer with the Abstergo logo printed largely in black on the back of it, and a large table like device about ten feet away from the desk.

"Here we are." Twilight said, and trotted over to her desk and used her magic to pick up a pencil and began to expertly type away at the computer with it. After a few seconds of that she said, "Now I'd like you to lay down on that table right there." As she pointed a hoof at the odd device I noticed earlier. I reluctantly laid on my back on the odd machine, the lumps on its surface not making it easy to stay still.

Twilight got up from the desk and walked over to me on the table calmly and said," I call this the Animus 1.0, and this device will help us uncover the past of your ancestors, and lead us to the whereabouts of the artifact I need." Soon after she said that a glass slid over my vision and a menu- like board opened up. "We need to go through your ancestors memories leading up to the location where he hid the artifact… so this might take awhile. I heard a sharp tap on the side of the animus, and my vision faded quickly into a bright white light. And fear engulfed me as I wondered what I would experience.
