Kagome's POV
I was really impressed by the way things were handled in their main base. It was interesting to see a military base for the first time(even Inuyasha and Sango said so.)
Sango tried using a M16 assault rifle instead of Hiraikotsu. Of course, that kind of scared her until Roadblock gave her a shot at his .50 cal. Browning machine gun and that's when she realized that not even Hiraikotsu could always protect her. I think it's now her secondary weapon after she started training with a gun. Miroku's gonna be surprised to see her with a pistol for the first time. I decided to go see the archery range and everything else on the base(after all, this was my new home.)
Duke's POV
Kagome's really taken to liking it here. I mean, other than running Beach Head's PT session from hell, she really likes the way we get things done here and the same goes for Sango. But even Beach is afraid to mess with her because, one, she's got Hiraikotsu and two, she can call on Inuyasha if she needs to. Other than that, though, she's real friendly and easy to get along with. I honestly don't think anyone's actually put up with Beach's insults through an entire PT session, that is, until Sango came along. Everyone's really impressed with Inuyasha, though. I mean, who can put up with a hundred-mile run, 2000 one-handed push ups and 3000 sit ups in one sitting, all without complaining? Certainly not the Greenshirts. Inuyasha makes the strongest Greenshirt look weak in comparison to his abilities.
