Winter was running down the hall, a hall which was emblazoned with pebbles and jewels that were dazzling under the lighted rays coming from the stars which could be clearly seen from the high posted window.

Suddenly a hand reached down her waist and picked her up to the side, winter startled at the contact broke in a fit of giggles as she tried to move away from Jacin who was laughing with the most infectious of smiles. Winter thought he rather looked good while smiling.

'Not so fast as you claim to be I see little princess.' Jacin said, in a deep voice ,smirking mischievously at Winter 's crest fallen expression which soon flushed upon noticing the proximity.

'You did technically cheat. You were supposed to follow me from across the hall! You can't simply just surprise me by coming from this way!' exclaimed Winter, narrowing her eyes, a begining of a small smile replaying her lips.

'No one told me about the rules. Princess ,a bit slow on that too It seems.'

'Oh you! Well its understood!.' She stretched her arms out from his embrace and huffed and took the other way ,faking offence.

Jacin followed her lighte figure, a gleam in his eyes as he took in her appearance. A blue long cotton dress.

'Oh I am terribly sorry for offending you princess, It was not in my conscience.' Jacin said, soundind clearly far away from apologizing and Winter looked at him with the appraisal of her eye brows, scrutinizing him, making a decision to forgive him or not.

'Apology not accepted.'

'What?'

'You heard me, but since im very kind and a very nice person, I'l let you off the hook if you agree to spend the glorious evening with me.'

Winter smirked at him, knowing full well she had cornered him into a delightful option. He was thoughtful for awhile, feigning thoughtfulness more likely, winter playfully noted and atlast sighed and said,

'Oh what a terrible punishment but my loyalty is serving you and I can't possibly say no.'

Winter grinned cheekily at the sarcastic guard ,who unabashedly looked forwards, a beginning of a smile finding its way.
