Peach Buns

Words from the author: Duuuuude. I'm feeling a bit brain dead nowadays. The last good story I wrote was for a writing contest like a month ago. But hey, now it's summer!
Well, all I can manage is right now is this drabble-ish oneshot.
Ren could hear a frustrated scream coming from the kitchen window.
That Ainu. She probably forgot where the lights are or something. He thought as he swung his Kwan Do over his shoulder and headed towards the source of 'distress'.
"What's wrong with you?" he asked, poking his head through the window.What he found was Pirika sitting on the floor,panicking in the messy kitchen.
"I don't know what to COOK!" Pirika yelled, tugging her hair.
"Why are you cooking anyways? I know Tamao's sick and all, but really. I personally wouldn't have entrusted you with cooking."
"Well, you won't cook anything but Chinese food. And Anna won't like that. Oh, and she went to go and buy medicine for Tamao. Yoh has to train. Manta's out of town. Ryu is, too… Oni-chan… he's sleeping in this morning. And not only that, he's horrible at cooking!"
"Oh, and let me take a wild guess. So are you."
Pirika flushed. She looked up at the smirking Ren.
"How… did you… know…"
Ren just turned around and walked away from the window, ignoring whatever it was the blue-haired girl was saying.
"Tch. You're dead meat. And I won't bother to help you, too."
"Wha… whatever. I'll figure out something."
I pity the man who marries you, idiot.
"… Wait! I remember something!"
Pffft. Whatever it is, I won't be eating it.
"PEACH BUNS!"
… Scratch that.
This came to me in the middle of the night. I have no idea what inspired it. So... Don't ask. >.>
Ahh, well, for people who didn't get the last part. Ren's favorite food is peach buns, if I'm not mistaken. Also, excuse me for my overly rusty writing skills. It's going to, ehh… take me awhile to get up and write asgood andas often as I used to again.
