I'm kind of new to this fandom so please, no harsh comments. This one-shot is pretty simple-nothing much to it. By the way, I'm usually not this...bad at writing.

"Zach," Cammie said as she remained where she was. "Where did you go? When you where looking for me?"
She shifted in my arms until she was gazing directly into my eyes. A hint of curiosity was evident in her eyes. She furrowed her eyebrows, a sign that told me that she didn't want the topic to be ignored.
Well, how were you supposed to tell someone that you ran away and wasted your summer searching for them? Or that you spent every waking worrying that your mother, leader of an ancient terrorist group, had somehow managed to capture as well as torture your girlfriend? You can't exactly go around, explaining your whole summer like that.
I must admit, running away to find Cammie made me seem too naive. And when you're in the spy business, naive is something you should never be. Especially when you're dealing with a terrorist group. The Circle doesn't hire fools. Working for them were many threatening assassins-assassins that even knew how to kill a man with just a banana. It's something that you shouldn't question because, if you ever did, they would gladly show you.
I thought back to the events led to this current one: Me, fleeing away from school to go Rome just, Preston getting arrested, and Mr. Solomon finally waking up. How did a simple mission travel downhill so quickly?
My whole entire life was dedicated to learning how many ways you can kill a man (250), and telling lies (which I'm evidently excellent at). But five years at a school for juvenile boys had not prepared me to confess my true feelings.
"Crazy." I whispered against her skin. "I went crazy."
