Her placenta falls to the floor
The angel opens her eyes, the confusion sets in
Before the doctor can even close the door
A baby girl lies in a tightly wrapped blanket, her eyes slightly opened, in her mother's arms. Tiny fingers, bright pink cheeks, dark red lips. She is beautiful, like her mother, but has a tiny resemblance to her father.
Lightning Crashes, an old mother dies
Her intentions fall to the floor
The angel closes her eyes, the confusion that was hers
Belongs now to the baby down the hall
This baby girl is named Grace Anne Stabler. Her mother is Olivia Benson, and her father is Elliot Stabler. A new face to both of them is completely shocking to both of them. Almost like a very bittersweet moment.

Kathy, Elliot's ex-wife waits outside the room, not to see the baby, but to see Elliot. He knows she is here, but he doesn't feel like taking his eyes off of Grace. Finally he moves towards the outside of the room. " What do you want Kathy?" Elliot lets out a sigh. She informs him she is taking the five kids and hitting the road.
"You cannot do that." He says harshly

The angels open her eyes, pale blue colored iris
Presents the sun and puts the glory out to hide, hide
" Get rid of her, Elliot." Kathy stands off. " I'd never." He replied. " Fine then, kiss your five goodbye." " You bitch, what did you do?" Kathy hands him a paper, signed by a judge, informing Elliot that Kathy now has full custody of all five of their children. It's a cold moment. "Goodbye. And good luck." She smirks walking towards the elevator. She waves goodbye. He would run after her, but he realizes it's time to let her go, let his children go, they were all grown up anyway. He returns to the room, to see both Olivia and Grace sleeping. He cries in the chair next to them. Life isn't over, its just begun again.
