"I promise you dear this won't hurt not one bit"

Hermione's eyes widened in fear as the, elder witch Bellatrix Black began to move back from the crouched position she was in, a sinister grin on her face as she pulled out her wand.

Hermione groaned and turned a bit on the cold marble floor of Malfoy Manner. Not again. Hermione thought already exhausted from the last curses sent her way. Tears began to form around her eyes as she looked up pleadingly at Bellatrix.

"Please! I've told you the truth please!" Hermione choked out , but immediately began to sob, knowing by the way the grin on the elder witch's face stayed, that she was no where near mercy, and Hermione shut her eyes tight waiting for the pain. There was a slight moment when she thought maybe, Bellatrix wouldn't do it. Slowly opening her eyes, she was proved wrong when , she was hit by the strong painful magic. Hermione clenched her fist screaming, she started to squirm around on the floor uncontrollably the pain completely consuming her.

"Please I've told you-... AHHH Please... STOP!"

"Please...please...PLEASE!"

Hermione's eyes shot open, her breath running, sweat pouring down her face. Her eyes wandered around the room quickly. She calmed down a bit as her mind noted that she was laid sprawled out on the large couch in the Gryffindor common room. She sat up sluggishly , examining her text books laid out on the floor and all over her legs. She sighed running a hand through her sweat soaked hair.

What a dream!

She thought as she started to collect her stuff, in hopes that when she got back to her room she'd get some descent sleep. She was all set and ready to go when a familiar airy voice invaded her ears.

"Dragon Needle Stalli-birds, always seem to start problems like this."

Hermione gasped, turning quickly to see, A platinum blonde Ravenclaw, sitting on a couch nearest to the fireplace. Her face seemed to show some concern as she looked Hermione up and down. When did Luna even get here?

Hermione grimaced slightly uncomfortable.

"Err...what exactly are you talking about Luna?"

Luna stood up , and slowly walked over to her placing two hands on Hermione's shoulders , her smile brilliant.

"The nightmares...Dragon Needle Stalli-birds love to sneak into our conscious and steal our deepest darkest memory's and use them against us...there quite hard to get rid of on your own"

Luna smiled a little bit more , taking Hermione's hand in her own.

"But that's why I'm here, so Hermione can fight them off quicker, and be happy "

Luna whispered the last word looking Hermione in the eye. The dark haired witch turned a deep shade of red. She was grateful that Luna had said that , no matter how weird it had come out it was nice to know someone understood what she was being tormented with inside. Hermione smiled, pulling Luna in for a hug.

"Thanks" she whispered against Luna's ear.

"Always" Luna mumbled back before skipping away,

she cheered a goodnight as she turned the corner, leaving Hermione by her self. But Hermione couldn't help but feel a nice warmth in her chest as she thought she'd never really be alone not as long as she had Luna.
