There are times where Kyoya would want Tamaki's colors all to himself.
There are times where Kyoya doesn't want them at all.
And there are times where he just compares himself to the Frenchman.
Kyoya is a teen void of colors. He's only jet black and empty white. Even his personality was either white or black. His pale skin clashes with his dark hair; the only thing he wears that isn't grey, white, or black is the school uniform and costumes for requests and particular events.
Tamaki is a teen filled to the brim of color. Sometimes, Kyoya suspects the blonde has enough for himself and the rest of the Ootori family. The Frenchman's rich, blonde hair only makes him seem brighter and his violet eyes always shone. His personality is happy and warm, rarely anything else. Tamaki always makes the light purple jacket of the uniform appear a bit duller.
When Kyoya thinks about himself, he really doesn't want Tamaki's bright colors. But when he thinks about the blonde, he wants those colors all to himself.
Sometimes, he wishes that Tamaki could give Kyoya half of those colors.
But when school lets out and they take rare trips together to Tamaki's home, empty of relatives but full of butlers and maids, it's when Tamaki grabs Kyoya and holds him tight, whispering nothing but sweet things and how the shorter makes such an adorable mommy.
And it's times when he manages to steal some of Tamaki's reds and pinks, he doesn't really mind having colors.
