Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter!

Authors note: I was extremely bored, and started researching random pairing, such as Ginny/Draco, and after reading a few, I thought that it would be fun to try and write one! Sorry it's so short, but I promise my other fics'll be longer! I had a bit of writers block when I started this. Thank you to my awesome-pawesome beta Queen Violet of the Underworld! So here it is! Please review!

Ginny sighed, as she looked around the empty Quidditch field. Why was it always her alone on Valentine's Day? Harry was in Hogsmeade with that dumb Ravenclaw seeker, Cho Chang. Hermione was somewhere snogging her stupid brother, Ron, after the two had finally admitted their feelings for each other that morning.

She had come to the Quidditch Pitch as the last place of freedom. Hogwarts was out of question, as many couples had decided not to go to Hogsmeade, but to stay at Hogwarts and get to "know each other better". Hogsmeade was also out of question, as she was sure to run into Harry and that Chang girl. Ginny was horrified to think that Harry actually found that thing attractive! Could he not see her pining over him almost every day in the Common Room, the Great Hall, even when he came to her house? But no. All he talked about was "Cho this..." and "Cho that...". What did that bitch have that she didn't?

So here she had come, hoping to be alone, and to escape the pressure of Hogwarts. So far, nobody had come anywhere near the Quidditch Pitch. Until...

SNAP

Ginny whirled around, faster than she had thought was humanly possible. Was someone spying on her?

Yes, it seemed that someone had. And this someone was standing not that far behind her, looking slightly bemused.

Oh no. It was a boy. Definitely a boy. Looking closer, Ginny saw that his hair was an unnatural white-blonde color, and his skin was just as pale. He was wearing Slytherin colors. Suddenly, Ginny realized who she had caught watching her.

She turned away, hoping that the boy behind her would leave, but she heard him as he walked towards her, almost hesitantly. Waiting until he was directly behind her, she turned around abruptly, and said "Come to gloat, Malfoy?"

"What are you on about, Weasley? What do I have to gloat about?" He sounded quite surprised.

"The fact that I'm standing here alone on Valentine's Day, hoping that I could have just a small amount of privacy, and then nearly end up crying just at the thought of how much of an idiot Harry fucking Potter is, I mean he doesn't even realize I exist! And then to top it all off, here you are, watching me nearly breakdown whilst you have nearly every girl drooling for you?" Ginny stopped to catch her breath, and realized she was close to tears.

"I agree with one part of that." The Slytherin said taking a step closer to Ginny.

"W-What?" Ginny asked, in spite of herself.

"The part about Potter being an idiot for not realizing you exist..." And with that, Draco's lips pressed against Ginny's trembling ones. He drew back, cold eyes now warm, gazing into her muddy brown eyes. Ginny was speechless. She thought of the consequences for a moment, but she quickly dismissed them before leaning forwards and kissing him back, but this time more passionately, and for a much longer time. His lips were softer than feathers, and his blonde hair shone in the midday sun. As they drew apart for the second time, all thoughts of Harry Potter left Ginny's mind. All she could think about was this boy in front of her.

"So." Draco said, casually. "Fancy a trip to Hogsmeade?"

"It's a date" Ginny said, as she tried to suppress a grin.
