Put Me Down!

its a simple one shot about Franny and Cornelius where he hadn't picked Franny up after he meeting and there was a storm outside! its my first fanfic so plz read and let me know on how i can improve it :D xx

Put me down!

Okay so this is just a one shot about Franny and Cornelius I thought of it on the bus on the way home from school for some reason I will never understand! Hope you like it plz comment it would totally make my day.

Its was a stormy day in todayland and Mrs. Robinson was wet and cold.

Mrs Robinson stormed up to the front desk at Robinson industry's. Franny wasn't in a good mood at all especially with her husband.

"How can I help you?" Lucy the receptionist asked looking up from her computer

"I need to call up to Cornelius' office, he won't answer his phone!" Lucy handed over the phone knowing that Mrs Robinson wasn't in a very good mood and was not to be messed with when she was like this

"Cornelius as soon as you get this message you are to call me right away! You said you were going to pick me up at the end of my meeting but you never did! I waited half an hour in the cold for you so where were you when you said you'd pick me up?" Franny dropped the phone suddenly as her husband sweped her up bridal style and tried to kiss her

"Sorry I was late we were trying to contain a poisonous gas explosion!" Franny hit her hands on Cornelius' chest

"Put me down Cornelius!" Franny demanded but Cornelius shook his head and carried her deeper into the building

"CORNELIUS ROBINSON YOU PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANCE!" Franny yelled causing a few odd looks from some of the new interns, all the way until he finally placed her on his big chair at his desk

"I'm sorry honey I had to contain the poisonous gas or we could have all been killed!" Cornelius said sitting down on the corner of his desk

"Cornelius I was freezing you could have called or texted or just told Lucy to let me know!"

"I know but it really was last minute and important god only knows what could have happened to this place and its workers if we didn't stop it!" Cornelius rubbed the back of his neck as the thought made him shiver

"I'm sorry Cornelius I didn't know it was that serious! I shouldn't have yelled at you like that!" Franny's face softened as she realised the seriousness of the matter

"No I'm sorry you were right as alway! I should have let you know In some way or another!" Cornelius said feeling guilty In case his wife got sick because of him, Franny got up out the chair and walked over to her husband and kissed him lightly on the lips.
