AN: Yet another oneshot, this time focusing on Annabeth and Luke. Hints of Percabeth. This story is sort of based off of Taylor Swift's song, Innocent.
She l/o/v/e/d him
But he betrayed her trust
Betrayed her for the Titans
He tried to k.i.l.l one of her closest friends
He tricked her into holding up the sky
(But even after that she still loved him)
He became the host for the Titan lord, Kronos,
[She still wouldn't let him go, though.]
She knew he was still an i-n-n-o-c-e-n-t
(No matter how hard everyone tried to convince her otherwise)
Her h/e/a/r/t still belonged to that son of Hermes
Or did it?
There was still that s.o.n o.f P.o.s.e.i.d.o.n to think about
[She loved him just as much as she loved that son of Hermes]
Both were just so darn perfect for her
But each hated the other && tried to convince her to do the same
But, but she could n-e-v-e-r hate her first love
(But she couldn't hate her S/e/a/w/e/e/d B/r/a/i/n either)
[No matter how hard he tried to convince her that her hero was not an innocent]
He was still an innocent; despite of what he had done
&& it turns out she was right
He made the r.i.g.h.t c.h.o.i.c.e in the end
And that's all that mattered to her
She had been right a/l/l a/l/o/n/g
(He was an innocent)
&& it didn't matter that she actually didn't love him
[Because he was dying anyway]
Her h-e-a-r-t belonged to her S/e/a/w/e/e/d B/r/a/i/n
&&her h.e.r.o was alright with that
He had been forgiven
(And she had been right the entire time)
He was still an i/n/n/o/c/e/n/t.
