Thank God this horrific case is over. A kid killing another kid over some beauty pageant really makes me question the humanity and priorities of some people. I want to go home and forget this with a few drinks and the "help" of Seeley. My heels click through the quiet of the lab and I turn to look up to the mezzanine where I know he went with Dr Brennan to sort out the paperwork for the case. Seeley turns his head at the sound of me walking and I motion with my head that I want to get out of here with him. I give out a reluctant chuckle at his response. I see him understand what I'm saying and then his expression shows that he's reluctant to leave Dr Brennan. His body changes from being relaxed to stiffening up as he talks with her before standing up, trying to prolong how long he spends with her. I see him glance at me again, almost nervously, and I know he really wants to stay. I shouldn't be surprised though, it's obvious that the two of them have a deep connection, but considering that they haven't done anything about it, I don't feel bad about sleeping with Seeley. I do, however, know to not get emotionally attached to him. While he has a sexual relationship with me, it's obvious that his heart belongs to her and I'm fine with it. I'll have a bit of fun until he comes to his senses, and then I'll happily stop and let them be together. I walk away and the last thing I see is Seeley leaning towards Dr Brennan, his face only a few inches away from hers. I shake my head and laugh. They're both really stupid if they don't see it.
