I Wonder

'Sometimes I wonder what it was...'

I wondered fondly, while my pearl color eyes stared at the loud blond in front of me.

'I wonder, was it his smile...?'

I studied his overly huge grin as he talked to his teammates, he loves them so much.

'Or maybe his compassion or his love for his teammates and friends...?'

Suddenly he turn towards me, his grin got bigger as he notice me staring at him. I quickly looked away flustered at being caught staring. I could feel the bright red blush creeping onto my face, giving my embarrassment away.

"Hinata." he stated gently, his voice full of amusement.

"Y-y-yes Naruto-kun?" curses, I haven't stuttered around him in years, but sometimes I can't help but get fluster when he is this close to me.

"Any particular reason you were staring at me so intently?" he questioned amused, his face inching closer to mine as I refused to make eye contact with him.

"Was I now? I didn't realize it, I was simply thinking about something." I muttered flustered, idly playing with my fingers, a habit I also thought I left behind.

"And now what could you possible be thinking about so intently?" Naruto questioned intrigued.

"Nothing, nothing important." I muttered trying to get the attention away from me.

"Hmmm…." Naruto hummed happily. Suddenly his arms looped around my waist pulling me towards him. "I don't believe you…" he muttered against my hair, his lips brushing against my raven locks.

"She's thinking about how Akamaru and I did an excellent job on the mission and that she's dating the wrong man." Kiba stated confidently pulling me away from my blond hair lover.

"Kiba!" I squeaked surprised at the sudden arrival of my teammate.

"Come on Hinata don't be shy, tell Naruto how you want me instead." Kiba barked out happily pulling me closer to him.

"Kiba." Naruto stated seriously, warning him to let me go.

"What can't stand the truth?" Kiba mocked Naruto happily.

"I'm only going to tell you once. Let. Her. Go." Naruto stated each word angrily, jealousy obviously laced in them. "She's mine." he growled, his eyebrows narrowing.

"Make me." Kiba simply stated grinning like a mad man.

I quickly pulled away from Kiba's grip embracing Naruto tightly before he could lash out at Kiba.

"Please don't fight." I stated urgently trying to calm Naruto down. "He doesn't mean it." I added.

"Hinata…?" Naruto questioned softly, his hand cupping my check. My gaze quickly meet with his soft ocean blue eyes. "You want me right?" he questioned nervously.

I stared into his worried eyes, a soft smile slowly form as I gently placed my hands on each of his shoulders. I pushed myself up placing my lips gently against his. He leaned down making it easier for me to kiss him, his fingers running through my hair. I sighed contently into the kiss.

'I guess I can stop wondering because I know the answer to my own questions…I fell in love with everything. His flaws and perfections.' I thought happily as I lost myself in his embrace.

"Hinata can't you play along for once?!" I heard Kiba groan annoyed as Akamaru barked happily.

So I know I have been MIA for the longest time, I'm not making any promises about updating my stories or uploading the one-shots.
