It had only been a week since Fluttershy and Discord had announced their engagement. Everyone in Ponyville went about making plans for the very odd couple; even though Fluttershy's friends were still a bit on the reluctant side of how much Discord's feelings for Fluttershy were genuine.
One day, Fluttershy invited her friends to tea; to have some mare time before her big day. As the girls laughed, chattered, and sipped their tea; their fun was interrupted when Discord teleported into the cottage, dramatically waving a piece of paper around.
"Of all the horrible things to happen, this has to be the worst; which is saying an awful lot considering I am the master of chaos. Oh, I never should have sent an invitation to my parents!" Discord shouted.
"Discord, what's wrong? Are your parents not coming?" Fluttershy went over to her fiance and laid a hoof on his arm.
"Oh, they're coming, but they're bringing Mirage with them." Discord said distastefully.
The ponies looked at each other, raising their eyebrows and shrugging their shoulders.
"Pardon me, but who exactly is this Mirage?" Applejack asked.
"Isn't it obvious? She's my sister."
The ponies gasped as Fluttershy folded her arms and gave Discord a stern look.
"You have a sister and you didn't tell me?" Fluttershy asked.
"Please, it's not like I'm the only pony here who has had a sibling all their life and has never mentioned it."
Twilight and Fluttershy gave each other knowing looks before Twilight sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Okay, point taken, but why don't you want your sister to come to your wedding?" Twilight asked.
"Because she's evil! She's the most deceitful, spiteful, malicious draconequus that I know!"
"You mean, that she's actually worse than you?" Pinkie Pie asked.
Everypony gave Pinkie Pie an irritated gaze; before Pinkie coughed into her hoof.
"I mean, she is worse than you before you turned good and fell in love with Fluttershy?" Pinkie asked cautiously.
"Yes! The worst part of it is that she wants to come before the wedding to meet Fluttershy."
"Oh, I think that's a wonderful idea. I can't wait to meet her." Fluttershy said in her usual bright and cheery voice.
"Don't you understand? She's evil! She's likely to turn you into an insane, three-headed, flying dog before she left here! I won't have her come here and hurt you in anyway."
"Discord," Fluttershy took hold of her fiance's claws. "is it possible that Mirage might have changed?"
"Mirage? Change? The only way she'd ever be good is if she somehow got amnesia."
"Well, you changed." Fluttershy reminded gently.
"That's different. I had you. Mirage doesn't have anyone in her life that's special and that would help her."
"Listen Discord, this may not be my place, but I think that maybe you should talk to Mirage and give her a second chance. Just like we did. Just like Fluttershy did." Twilight said.
Discord looked at Fluttershy's pleading face and then rolled his eyes. "Fine, but only for Fluttershy."
Fluttershy kissed Discord on the cheek. "Thank you, Discord."
