Author's Note: Just to be clear, the poem is free-verse, so it doesn't rhyme. It can be interpreted as OliveXwhoever, or EmmaXwhoever, depending on whether or not you prefer the movie or book-verse. Enjoy.

~.~.~.~.~

Cold and dark

The room did light.

Flickering sparks

In damp hands.

Green eyes glistened

Lips did smile.

Beautiful and enticing

Unfamiliar and uncomfortable.

Together they moved

Silent and unsure.

Thoughts dissipated

Hearts enlarged.

But only one soul emerged.
