This is my first FanFiction story so i hope it's good. I've been a little leery about actually posting this story because i knew some people wouldn't like it. Then again, there may be someone that actually enjoys this. Please comment and tell me what you think.

Chapter 1
Elizabeth Swann's mind went back to a specific day when she was a little girl.
Elizabeth was just a small child, and was naïve when it came to how cruel the world really was. Her father had taken her along on a trip to a small town for another political meeting. Being that she was young and restless, these trips always had a hard toll on her, and she never really wanted to go on them. Her mother had died when she was a baby and her only guardian was her father, which meant she had to tag along on trips. She was on deck playing with her favorite porcelain doll when she noticed the big commotion going on around her. Their ship had just entered the bordering waters of the town when the captain noticed something. The captain called to her father telling him that a ship was approaching them from the west. As they got closer a crew member screamed "Pirates".
"All hands on deck." Her father's commander shouted.
Elizabeth's father came over to her and picked her up in his arms. He walked to his cabin and opened the door.
"Stay in here Elizabeth. I will come back and get you when we pass this ship."
"But father, I want to see the pirates."
"No, sweetheart. You stay hear."
She argued with his response, and then he left closing the door behind him.
Elizabeth had drifted into a deep sleep under her father's desk. She soon awakened to the sound of cannons. Elizabeth ran to the window and saw a big ship next to theirs. All of the sudden the cannons had stopped. She looked out the window and saw the ship retreating.
From that day on Elizabeth had always had a life of piracy engraved into her mind. She still thought about who she would marry and about children, but that didn't stop her from imagining her as a pirate. She wanted to grow up and be a pirate like she had seen that day as a kid.
