READ THIS: So. Here it is. The new and improved version of The Lost and Forgotten. Characters will be switched around, replaced, or removed. Clarico will not be a main pairing. I have a new pairing in mind. I checked, and unless I had the search thing wrong, there aren't any fics with it. It won't be so…rushed, though. Also, there'll probably be a few innuendos. Read at your own risk. The plot will be radically different. It will feature a new villain that, unless you're an expert on Greek Myths(which I'm NOT, I stumbled upon it by accident)you've probably never heard of it. It also takes place about three years after The Last Olympian(Nico should be 16…I think), and I've tweaked with some of the character's ages. THIS IS CANON UP TO TLO. Now. On with it!

Disclaimer: I don't own PJ&O.

The earth shook as the woman walked through the Underworld, arriving at her brother's palace. When she reached the throne room, she bowed in respect.

"Thank you for allowing me to enter your realm, brother," Hestia said. A dark figure rose from his thrown.

"Under normal circumstances, I would not have allowed this," he said coldly, but with a small hint of urgency. "However, these are not normal circumstances."

"Are you certain this time?" his sister asked. The lord of the dead nodded grimly. Hestia sighed. "I thought, I hoped, that this day would never come." She steadied herself as another tremor hit.

"Gaia is anxious," Hades said. "The time has come. The Prophecy will be revealed."

"Perhaps it is for the best," the goddess of the hearth sighed. "After so many years…it's not in my nature to keep secrets from family." Hades was silent for a moment.

"Tell the others," he finally said. "I will talk with the Dark Keeper." The Dark Keeper was the name they used for Tartarus. The being not, not the prison he watched over.

Hestia nodded, and left.

Hades stood before the pit. A dark giant rose from it.

"You wished to speak to me?" Tartarus demanded.

"You know why I have come," said Hades. "The Prophecy…what must I do?"

"The answers are not mine to give," boomed the Dark Keeper. "This prophecy comes from before my time."

"That does not help!" Hades said angrily. Tartarus snarled angrily.

"Silence, fool!" he bellowed. "I could destroy you in an instant!"

"Very well," Hades said. "But if I choose wrongly…the universe will fade."

Yes. 'Tis short. But it's a prologue. The rest will come soon. Remember, reviews bring readers!
