Disclaimer...all I own is this story and my poem

In the village of konoha its been one year since Uchiha Sasuke returned. Not everyone has forgiven him, but its never been one of his traits to care about anyone's opinion. Now today as everyone knows is Mother's Day. We have Sasuke walking through the town with a bouquet of flowers in hand. While he's walking a girl come up to him and embraces him say, " Thank you Sasuke-kun for the flowers." he just shrugged her off and continued on his way. He didn't even turnn to look when he heard the girl crying.

I miss the way you were here

I miss the things we did

I know its not your fault your gone

As he's walking he starts thinking what the rest of team seven was doing that day. Sakura was with Tsunade since she lost her parents to, but would be visiting her mother later, and Naruto was with Iruka-sensei all day even though everyone thought it was wierd. He was so busy in thought he almost forgot his destination.

But I blame myself

Thinking if I was stronger

You would be here

He walked down to the stone and kneeled in front. He gently placed the flowers to his side and bowed his head and placed his hands in front of himself. He let silent tears slide down his cheeks while his bangs covered his eyes from sight. He slowly extended his hand and picked up the roses by his side. Sasuke placed the roses in front of the stone and said a quiet pray.

Holding me like when I was young

Now I sit here crying

Using my old tears

As he looked back up he said quietly while the tears still slide down. "Hey okaa-san I miss you. I know I haven't visit you in a while I know and I'm so sorry. I killed Itachi and now I'm going to start on the revival of our clan. I love you and happy mother's day. I'll visit soon I promise."

The ones I haven't shed

Since I was afraid of the dark

But as the years fly by

Sasuke stood up slowly and started to walk back towards the town. The sun was starting to set so he wanted to get home before dark. As he was walking he saw Sakura with flowers in her hand to. She slowly walked to him with a bright smile, but the tears in her eyes gave her emotion away. Sasuke slowly wrapped his arms around her while whispering something in her ear. She nodded her head and took his hand, and slowly walked to her mother's grave stone.

I learn to stand tall

I still think if I was stronger

You would still be here

As they walked in silence they both thought the same thing. If they could turn back time to stop all the things that happened to them they wouldn't.

But I know your spirits here

Guiding me along the way

So I walk to the future

With you following me
