A Night To Remember
Mary and Lewis were sitting at lunch by each other. ''Hey mary, want a cookie?'' Lewis had one to spare one. ''Sure!'' Mary said. Her heart was beating and her stomach had butterflies in it. Mary had always had a HUGE crush on Lewis, the only person who knew was her best friend Adrianna. ''Why don't you just ask him out at the big Christmas dance tonight?'' Mary was thinking about the simple idea that Adrianna had gave her. ''I don't know if he likes me though..'' Mary was sad and happy with mixed emotions all at the same time.
''Well the dance is next!'' Adrianna said with joy. ''Who are you going to go with Adrianna?'' Mary asked. ''Well Dominic and Ian both asked me but, I'm going with Dominic.'' The big dance was next period. Mary didn't like to dance in public but, she would do anything for Lewis's attention. ''Hey Lewis.. want to dance with me?'' It was a slow dance. ''I don't see why not.'' Lewis said with a huge grin on his face. Adrianna was already dancing with Dominic and having a blast, they had even started a huge conga line. Then it happened. Lewis started to slow dance with Mary. ''I've never seen anyone with such deep blue eyes.'' Mary giggled at Lewis's comment. Then it happened. Lewis leaned his head in and kissed Mary. Mary couldn't believe it. She has been dreaming of this moment for years.
''M-mary w-ill you go out with me?'' Lewis asked in a shaky voice. Mary had stopped thinking. It was like no one was around but Lewis. ''YES YES YES I WILL LEWIS!'' Then Adrianna walked up. ''Why don't you guys go up and enter the slow dancing contest? I'm Judging because I won last round, and I'll vote for you guys every time. ''Sounds good with me, how about your Mary?'' Mary was thinking. She could finally rub it in Chloe W's face that she was going out with Lewis. ''Okay!'' They walked up into the dancing area. Lewis and Mary started to slow dance again and of course, they won. ''Great dancing Mary.'' Lewis said with joy. ''Thanks!'' Mary didn't think the day would work out like this. It all started when Lewis gave Mary a cookie at lunch.
Mary and Lewis started kissing again. Mary though in her head ''This will be the night to remember.'' It was the night to remember in fact , it was their wedding date too. December 20th.
