"Zach, why are you and Hodgins guiding four featherless chickens?" Brennen asked one day at the lab.
"The chickens are the main suspect in a mass amount of pig murders at Amedy Farms". Hodgins replied eagerly.
"And what evidence do you have that supports the theory of murderous chickens?" Brennen said with wonderment on how chickens could do such a thing.
"The bone fragments I found in a pile of dirt found with the Coleman case you brought us yesterday, Dr. Brennan," Hodgins said.
"How could chickens commit the murder though, I mean there chickens" she said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Then Zach piped up.
"The farmer who owned said chickens had mutated them so there feathers were poisonous. If you touched one feather you would begin to swell up, which is why we had to extract the feathers so we would not swell up and die."
"And a farmer would be so dumb as to mutate his chickens because…?"
"Well how we are supposed to know we are not dumb farmers." And with that said the two made a quit exit.
"HOLD IT!" Booth barked after walking in on the scene before him. The two men in question eyed him innocently. "Hodgins, Zach, what the hell are featherless chickens doing running around the lab?"
"It was all his idea!" they said in unison, pointing accusing fingers at their partners in crime.
A/N- me and my friend, Edward-and-Bella-forever, came up with the idea to write this switching authors every other sentence, so we had no idea where it would go. And keep in mind we had a lot of caffeine recently so we blame the muffin man, don't know why we just do.
