you give up on make-up
because she never wore any
look who won in the end
and you're still pretty, probably
guys ask you for dates anyways
(you say no. it isn't because of him, of course)
and then, one day
you meet a guy who is not really nice
or terribly cute
or even anything really
but s a r c a s t i c and biting and
(shh- he makes you laugh)
and you think that you could
fall in love with this boy
(he is a b o y)
but he belongs to your cousin
just like the other one
(sometimes you hatehatehate your family)
he loves her
she loves him
you don't do anything except for dream
it's sad
because you're in love
with someone seven years younger
(and how is it that they got each other
but you're just stuck
in that pretty pink bridesmaid dress again?)
