Arthur marched to his room, he was not afraid, he was not, not of that klutz! Still, he has the feeling that he's not the same klutz he knew. He bursts through the door and finds him sitting, relaxing in one of his chairs. Arthur opens his mouth but he beats him to the chase. His voice is dark and poisonous, not his manservant's voice. He was not the same. DARK!MERLIN

Within all our souls lies darkness.

The little servant girl has it; it is small and weak but there.

The large noble has it dominating his mind and destroying young women within its path.

You see, the two are siblings, separated at birth. So how is one evil and not the other? Is the darkness not something that you are born with?

No.

All babes are born innocent, pure, white, glowing with purity in every inch of their souls.

It is life that decides how much blackness sneaks into your soul.

The air you breathe, the clothes you wear, the food you eat all help bring or take away some of the darkness.

But two main things decide.

Power and what you saw in your grim/joyous life.

Oh, what I have seen! What I can do! The darkness in my soul has eaten away at the pure white that was there.

Think of it like this. Fill a cup with water. Then pour, fresh, warm blood into it. The red mixes with the clear fluid and darkens it to such a pretty colour.

Sip.

I have done many things in my few years. I have conquered kings and sprits and destroyed a person's very core.

And no one knows.

I have killed so many and slaughtered aimlessly. Not that I would have known it was aimless at the time.

And, no one knows.

I have the power of the gods, of Death and her brother Life. I have the worlds at my fingertips, hanging loosely and soon about to drop.

And so delightfully, no one knows.

I saved everyone who ever lived more times than I can count.

I have saved you, your beloved, your father, your everything.

What do I get?

This.

Do you see the black in my soul that is eating away at me?

It burns me, slowly tearing me into itty bitty little pieces.
