"I suppose you know why you're here," the Trunchbull spat at Matilda.

Young Matilda shook her head from side to side, "No Miss Trunchbull..."

"So are you able to tell me who carved 'the trunchbull is a beast!' on a tree and cut the same sentence in all my gym shorts?" the trunchbull shouted. "I think a trip to the Chokey will do you some good! And I will have a word with your father!"

"Nah nah nah. you be quiet Miss Honey! Tomorrow Matilda will come back here when the bell goes and i will find another way of punish her. Now leave! Both of you!"

After they had left the office Miss Honey looked sadly at Matilda, "Are you hurt?" she asked concerned.

Matilda spoke softly, "Not badly..."

"I did nothing and got locked in the Chockey anyway. I am also facing another punishment tomorrow!" Matilda said and skipped to her room.

"No food for you tonight!" her mother called after her.
