Raven was awakened by the sound of the titans alarm alerting the team of some disturbance in the city. She quickly dressed herself in her usual leotard and indigo cloak. As she entered the hallway she collided with someone and they both fell to the ground with a thud.
"Sorry, I didn't see you there Rae" Beast Boy said while offering her a hand. She accepted it and they both made their way down the hall to meet up with their friends.
As the pair walked through the automatic doors, they saw Robin sitting at the giant computer trying to figure out who was causing a disturbance so early in the morning.
"Plasmus" Robin said and the rest of the team groaned. This was the last thing any of them wanted to deal with at the moment.
Minutes later they arrived in downtown Jump City. Plasmus was screeching to his full ability and destroying everything in his path.
"Titans go!" Robin yelled, and the team jumped into action. Beast Boy morphed into a tyrannosaurus rex and rammed into Plasmus with all his strength. Meanwhile Starfire began hitting him with star bolts from behind. Plasmus spun around and commenced spitting acid in the alien's direction. Robin took this opportunity to attach an explosive to the slime monster's back. In a matter of seconds the entire team was covered in gross magenta slime.
"Booyah" Cyborg yelled. Raven grimaced at the slime now covering her, as did most of the team.
Soon enough the titans were back at the tower and after enjoying some well deserved showers were back to their rooms. But no matter how hard she tried Raven could not fall back asleep. 'Maybe a cup of tea will help' she thought.
The sound of the teapot brought Raven out of her thoughts and she jumped from the sudden sound. She quickly made her tea and settled herself on the couch. The dark girl was so focused on the rolling waves in the ocean she didn't notice Robin enter the room.
"What are you still doing up?" Raven jumped for the second time that night and turned to see the boy wonder standing quite close to her.
"Thinking" she replied in her monotonous voice. He nodded in response and went about getting himself a glass of water. He then joined her on the couch, they didn't talk they just watched the ocean together. They both eventually fell asleep.
