Hey peoples! Just a Ouran fanfic i wrote when inspiration struck me. I kno i havn't updated Cruelty Of Fate in a long time but i am writing it right now when i find time. Anyways ENJOY!

Shivering she pulled the coat tighter against her as the cold wind blew. She didn't remember fall ever being this cold. Colored leaves danced in spirals around the small park. The sun was beginning to set, the sky was darkening and rain clouds were beginning to gather. Around her, people began to head home. She saw a couple across the park holding hands and walking. They looked genuinely happy and without a care in the world.

Once again, he was late. This was the third time this week it had happened to her. Also, he had been very distance lately. The barriers he let down in front of here were back up once more. She checked her watch, Kyouya was already an hour late.

"That's how it's supposed to be." she thought longingly. "I'm not supposed to be standing here alone waiting for him to come."

She felt her phone vibrating in her coat pocket, someone was calling her.

"Hello" she answered her phone. It was Kyouya who had called her.

"Haruhi, I am sorry but I have to cancel our date. I am stuck in an important meeting right now." Kyouya said

"I understand." Haruhi replied trying not to sound dejected. "I'll talk to you to tomorrow then."

Haruhi hung up the phone, her mood melancholy. Looking around the park, she saw that everyone had left by now. She was the only was left, she was alone. The horizon was getting darker each minute and raindrops were falling. As the raindrops were falling, so were her tears. Like the rain, her tears were falling unwillingly and she couldn't stop them no matter how hard she tried.

Damn it! Why was Kyouya being like this. Haruhi had even dressed up for the occasion because Kyouya had said he would take her out to somewhere special. Couldn't he see how much he had hurt her. Didn't he love her anymore? Was work more important than her? Haruhi just stood there in the rain, - her head hung low and her shoulders sagged - for who knows how long.

The rain had stopped. Her tears had also stopped falling. She walked home from the park completely drenched and dispirited. It was eleven o'clock when she got to her apartment. Stepping into her small living room, she took of her soggy shoes and looked at the clock on the wall. Apparently Haruhi had been in the park for five hours. Not bothering to change into dry clothes, Haruhi walked over to the sofa and collapsed onto it. Completely exhausted, she let the darkness lull her to sleep.

I'll update the second chapter when i find time. Thanks for reading! Review if u want! :D
