AN: So I loved Purgatory so much and I was really upset they didn't do more with Dean there, but it seems like I've gone through all the Purgatory fics so I thought I'd try to write one. This one was a rough draft and I can't find the better version. I wanted to post it though. I'll probably write more like this anyways. Here you go. Feedback is always welcome.

Monsters don't storytell. Monsters talk and complain, but not storytell. The one exception is in Purgatory and that's only because of him.

When he landed in here, everyone knew. At first nobody wondered how a human came to be here, but after the first group didn't come back and was found slaughtered, questions flew. Theories and rumours were thrown around and that's how the stories started.

What was known was that he was human. Human and lethal. How he got thrown into Purgatory, there were whispers, nothing concrete, but it had to have been terrible. No ordinary human was thrown in monsterland, especially one who survived.

The story that's been taken as truth is this. He was brought in with a Leviathan he killed. But he wasn't alone. The story goes that he had an angel, but the angel deserted him. Now the man needed his angel. No one knew what the angel was to the man; friend, enemy, lover? Some tested the man with lies on the angel, but that along with the questions, ended with slaughter.

The man tore through Purgatory asking his question. He didn't care what you were or what you'd done, he just wanted information. Some mocked him with kill stories, others lied about what they knew; it still ended the same way, bloody. Every once in a while, he'd get the information and if it was good, he let you live. That didn't happen often. Monsters still caught on and most of them, when he came and no matter where you hid he always came, they told him what they knew.

Where is the angel? A human burned down Purgatory with his question and the monsters answered, for maybe this angel would end the slaughter.
